Community Health Nursing

Throughout this course, you will gain knowledge and skills in assessing community health needs, planning and implementing health promotion programs, and advocating for the overall well-being of the community.
During your studies, you will learn how to assess the health needs of populations, identify risk factors, and develop strategies to address community health issues. You will explore topics such as epidemiology, health promotion, disease prevention, community assessment, health education, and healthcare policy.
The course will cover key areas such as communicable disease control, maternal and child health, environmental health, health disparities, and disaster preparedness. You will also learn about the role of the community health nurse in collaborating with community stakeholders, healthcare organizations, and government agencies to improve health outcomes.
